About Our Business
At A-1 Beauty, Barber, Nails, Braiding & Waxing College.
We strive to provide accessible education and training for better jobs
and lives throughout the Hampton Roads VA & the North East NC area..
We build careers in all phases of the Beauty and Barber
Industry by learning to create high fashion designs with the most
advanced techniques. These tools are accomplished with the education and
courteous customer service skills, which allows the student to be measured
through increased test results and retention on their industries success.
Our key is a competency-based educational system from simplest to the
more complex and challenging...
My approach is that I will help preserve the art of Cosmetology,
Barbering, Nail Technology, Braid-Weaving, Waxing, Esthetics as well as the
future educators of sorts into the industry. I will also pride myself by
sharing great lessons that I have learned along my journey of wisdom
and deliver the skills most needed for each component. This will
allow everyone to comprehend the information and master the skills
successfully thus, giving back to the industry and raising the bar
in not only a skillful phase but an educational one as well!
Our Mission is that earning comes after the Vision and learning…Vision,
learning & Earning.
The purpose of learning is to create pathways to earning and the ultimate
